A big “hello” from all of us in the Dusemond Team!

Dusemond Study Programmes was started in 2015 by Rupert, after 20 years working for a large UK education provider.

Since that time, the team has grown to encompass nationalities and expertise from all over the world and this combined passion and experience goes into the programmes we deliver.

Our aim, and the aim of all our staff, is to provide fun, safe, international and educational experiences for all our students and most importantly to send everyone home with conflicted feelings: happy to be going home but sad to be leaving!

If we do this we will feel we have achieved!

CHELTENHAM

Cheltenham, la città dell’arte e dell’acqua, ha un caratteristico fascino inglese e una naturale eleganza indiscutibilmente britannica. È una famosa località termale, nel cuore della contea di Gloucester. Il piccolo fiume Chelt la attraversa sia in superficie che sottoterra. Cheltenham è nota anche per le corse dei cavalli e per i suoi eleganti e caratteristici negozi e giardini.

CHELTENHAM COLLEGE

Il Cheltenham College è stato fondato nel 1841 e sorge a circa 750 mt (soli 10 minuti a piedi) dal centro della cittadina di Cheltenham.

E’ una realtà dove edifici antichi e moderni sono perfettamente integrati tra loro in un ambiente sicuro per gli studenti. Circondato da verde e immerso nella tranquillità tipica della contea inglese del Gloucestershire.

ACCOMMODATION

Tutte le boarding houses sono dotate di un’area comune con TV/DVD.

Sono attigue fra loro e a pochi passi dal centro didattico e dalle aree comuni.

I ragazzi vengono ospitati in boarding houses con camere singole o doppie.

Il trattamento previsto è “Full Board” comprendente breakfast (English e Continental a giorni alterni), pranzo e cena.

Sono previsti “lunch boxes” nei giorni di escursione full-day.

WELFARE PROGRAMME

Il Dusemond Welfare Team lavora intensamente per assicurare
il comfort e la sicurezza di tutti i ragazzi ospiti del campus.

Il Team, che vive insieme agli studenti presso le boarding houses,
è addestrato per il primo soccorso e ha stretti rapporti con i servizi medici locali.

I ragazzi incontreranno e conosceranno i componenti del Team al loro arrivo in aeroporto a cui seguirà una “house induction” per illustrare:

Localizzazione delle stanze e modalità di accesso
Common room della Boarding House
“Do’s” & “Don’ts” house rules
Uscite di emergenza e relative esercitazioni antincendio pianificate
Codice di condotta
Uso della lavanderia
Raccolta delle esigenze particolari di natura medica o alimentare
Coprifuoco e quiet times

Dusemond Study Programmes promote a growth mindset, task-based learning, with emphasis on empowering students to see the positive potential for growth in both themselves and others.

The 7Skills Leadership Programme is designed to prepare today’s teenagers for tomorrow’s real world. Positioning leadership as a reflective practice requiring continuous self-development, this programme is structured around 7 core skills that will help them grow into better leaders.

“You use your brain to learn and we make sure that you have fun whilst you’re doing it so that your learning will last. Dusemond Programme includes specific academic sessions on excursion destinations that the students will take at the weekend. Through these interactive sessions our students will not only practice their English, but they will also gain a wider appreciation of British culture!”
